Is Gio too confident in belief that Knicks will win 'easy' in series with Pacers?

Some callers have taken issue with how confident Gio is in the Knicks heading into their second-round series with the Pacers, but Gio says there is merit to his confidence.

“My opinion is that they should win in five, and winning in five means easily,” Gio said. “Just swat them away.

“It’s okay to be optimistic and confident about a team you believe in. it’s the Pacers matchup that makes me really believe. If they were gonna play a healthy Bucks team, I wouldn’t be nearly as confident as I am. But this is the way that it worked out.”

Boomer, who believes that the series is going to go seven games, warns that the Pacers are going to be a much tougher matchup than Gio seems to believe, and fans should get ready for another dogfight.

“There was nothing easy about those games,” Boomer said about the Knicks’ first-round series win over the Sixers, even as they were seconds away from winning in five games. “I have to educate you sometimes. It’s just not easy.”
