Engram was the No. 23 overall pick in 2017 and was pegged to be a big part of a Giants offense featuring veteran Eli Manning and second-year coach Ben McAdoo, and he had 64 catches for 722 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie.

However, Engram was plagued by drops and much-maligned by fans over the next four years (and two head coaches) and never again reached those numbers. He had 46 catches for 408 yards and three touchdowns in 2021, and over five years and 65 games, Engram notched 262 catches for 2828 yards and 16 touchdowns, with 14 rushes for 80 yards and one score as well.

Jacksonville adds Engram to a huge first day of free agency, which also saw then grab Jets DT Foley Fotukasi, Falcons LB Foye Oluokun, Pro Bowl Washington guard Brandon Scherff, and Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk – the latter earning a four-year, $84 million deal.
