Sunday’s Week 14 was a bit of a somber one as franchises and players remembered Demaryius Thomas, who passed away earlier this week at the age of 33.

Former and current players had taken to social media to remember the wide receiver earlier this week, and on Sunday there were plenty more tributes for Thomas.

Prior to the Jets’ game against the New Orleans Saints there was a moment of silence for Thomas, who played for the Jets in 2019 — his last active season in the NFL.

The Broncos, where Thomas spent most of his career and won a Super Bowl, also paid tribute by putting No. 88 decals on the back of their helmets and setting up a memorial outside of Empower Field at Mile High. Thomas’ No. 88 was also painted on the sideline.

The Broncos also plan to air a video tribute and hold a moment of silence before their game vs. the Lions, which kicks off at 4:05 p.m. ET.

Thomas was found dead at his Roswell, Georgia home on Thursday. Investigators believe it was the result of a medical issue, although more specifics still remain unknown.
