Sal enjoyed watching Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson connect on several passes during the first episode of Hard Knocks, and he believes it served as a foreshadowing for the monster season Wilson is about to have.
“I want to take Garrett Wilson in every fantasy draft I have,” Sal said. “I want to take Garrett Wilson with my first-round pick. I don’t care where I’m picking.
“I think Wilson is an absolute stud in every sense of the word. I thought that last year with no quarterback. Imagine how good he’s gonna be with Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback?”
Wilson, last year’s Offensive Rookie of the Year, hauled in four touchdown receptions last season, logging 1,103 yards on 83 receptions. Sal believes, with future Hall of Famer Rodgers throwing him passes instead of Zach Wilson and Mike White, that those numbers are going to skyrocket in Wilson’s sophomore season.
“I do believe Garrett Wilson is going to be the best receiver in the NFL,” Sal said.
