The Jets have voted on their team captains for the upcoming season, and the group clearly has built a quick sense of respect for its rookie quarterback.
Zach Wilson will be one of the team’s on-field leaders this year, as he was voted one of the two offensive captains along with Corey Davis, who will also be playing in his first year with New York after opting out of last season.
CJ Mosley and Foley Fatukasi will be the captains on the defensive side, while Justin Hardee was voted as the special teams captain.
Wilson will be a captain in his first NFL season after not being a captain with BYU last year. But it appears his teammates saw enough of his leadership ability to make him a leader right from the start.
