The Jets have secured their franchise running back, according to multiple reports.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports that New York has agreed to a three-year deal with Breece Hall, ending speculation that he could be the next contributor to be dealt away as Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams have already been in the Darren Mougey era.

Per Schultz, the contract pays Hall $47.75 million, making him the third-highest paid running back in the NFL, behind only Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey. Brian Costello reports that the deal includes $29 million in guaranteed money.

Hall, a second-round pick in 2022, had until July 15 to get a deal done with the team in order to prevent playing under the franchise tag.

The 24-year-old had his first 1,000-yard season in 2025, finishing with 1,065 rushing yards to go along with four touchdowns. He averaged 4.4 yards per carry in 16 games.

Hall will be a pillar of the Jets offense next season, along with top wide receiver Garrett Wilson, and will have a new quarterback in Geno Smith.

The reported deal makes Hall the third-highest paid running back in the NFL.
