Kevin Durant has been fined $25,000 for obscene language directed at a fan during Friday night's game against the Hawks, a league official announced on Sunday.
During the Nets victory in Atlanta, a courtside fan told Durant to "stop crying," prompting Durant to turn and reply "Shut your ass up, mother*****." Video of the exchange quickly hit Twitter, and clearly made its way to the NBA league offices.

Durant finished with 31 points in the victory over the Hawks, but the exchange with a fan was the latest evidence of Durant showing a willingness to get into it with fans, which he usually saves for social media.
