Evan Fournier's commute to MSG through NYC is via electric scooter

Evan Fournier has found a unique way to avoid New York City traffic on his way to Knicks games and practices.

As told by Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, the Knicks' big free agent signing of last offseason takes his electric scooter.

Fournier told Bondy that it is just a six minute ride on his electric scooter to get to Madison Square Garden from his home, and being recognized hasn't been an issue, as he speeds by the rest of the rushing New York crowd.

In fact, not being recognized was initially an issue when it came to parking at MSG with his ride.

"It took security a little bit of time to realize, 'Okay, this is a player,'" Fournier told Bondy.

Fournier, who settled in and became one of the Knicks' most reliable shooters in the second half of last season, is hoping to have a more consistent second year in New York this season. He'll have six minutes of time with his own thoughts on his work commute to visualize how he will make this season better than last.
