Kemba Walker was a member of the Pistons for just one week.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the former Knicks point guard has agreed to a buyout with Detroit after New York traded him to the Pistons on draft night in a three-team deal that also included the Bucks. For New York, it was an effort to shed the 32-year-old’s salary to make a push for point guard Jalen Brunson.

Walker was shut down in February last season as he and the Knicks mutually agreed to allow Walker to get healthy and prepared for the upcoming season after he battled injury and was also exiled to the bench by Tom Thibodeau earlier in the season.
Walker will be a free agent when he clears waivers.
