Sauce Gardner, Breece Hall, and Garrett Wilson filmed themselves talking about the prospect of Aaron Rodgers joining the Jets, before burning the cheesehead that Gardner promised he would when he made his recruiting pitch to the future Hall of Famer on Twitter earlier this week.

The cheesehead was worn by Gardner after the Jets beat Rodgers’ Packers at Lambeau Field this past season, but the trio of rookies made it clear that they now would like to be teammates with Rodgers, who met with Jets brass in California on Tuesday.

Cowboys star Micah Parsons saw the video, and trolled Zach Wilson afterward.

Parsons replied to a clip of the video with a GIF of an awkward-looking Wilson standing in a suit, while the logo of a job hiring company slowly makes its way into the frame. The suggestion, of course, being that the Jets clearly don’t want Wilson running the offense anymore, and he will either be the backup to a veteran next season, or gone from the team.

Gang Green’s coaching staff and front office have continued to voice confidence in Wilson becoming the player they hoped he would be when they drafted him second overall, but players reportedly were much more excited playing for Mike White last season. Others were frustrated by Wilson emphatically denying blame for a frustrating 10-3 loss to the Patriots in November, when the offense couldn’t find any rhythm behind Wilson, who was benched afterward in favor of White.
