MLB has officially announced the 120 teams, 11 leagues, and four classifications that will make up Minor League Baseball’s four full-season levels in 2021 and beyond.

At the Triple-A level, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders and Syracuse Mets will be part of the new 20-team “Triple A East” League, combining the 10 teams of the former International League with the 10 teams from the former Pacific Coast League that represent the 10 teams from MLB’s Central Divisions.

The RailRiders and Mets will be part of the six-team Northeast Division, along with Lehigh Valley, Rochester, Buffalo, and the rebranded Worcester (formerly Pawtucket) Red Sox.

At the Double-A level, the Somerset Patriots and Binghamton Rumble Ponies are part of the 12-team Northeast League, joining that circuit’s Northeast Division with New Hampshire, Reading, Portland, and Hartford.

The new High-A level’s 12-team East League features the Hudson Valley Renegades, Brooklyn Cyclones, and rebranded Jersey Shore BlueClaws (still a Phillies affiliate) as three of the five teams in that league’s North Division, along with Wilmington and Aberdeen.

And finally, the new Low-A level has both the Tampa Tarpons and St. Lucie Mets, although they are in separate divisions of the Southeast League. The Yankees affiliate shares the West with Bradenton, Clearwater, Dunedin, Lakeland, and Fort Myers, while the Mets are in the East with Daytona, Jupiter, and Palm Beach.
