If the 76ers want to finally secure a deal for James Harden, they might have to pay a hefty haul.

According to NBA insider Jordan Schultz, the Nets have asked for both Matisse Thybulle and Tyrese Maxey in a trade that would be centered around Harden and Ben Simmons. Per Schultz, the Nets also have “tangible interest” in Seth Curry, Philadelphia’s 3-point sharpshooter.

Thybulle, 24, has played in 39 games so far this season, shooting 50 percent from the field while averaging 5.8 points per game in 26.5 minutes of work. Maxey, the Sixers’ bright young star, is averaging 16.9 points per game this season, shooting 47 percent from the floor and 40 percent from downtown.

According to multiple reports, the two teams are in discussions for a trade, even after Nets head coach Steve Nash said Harden would not be traded. But it looks like Harden could be moved before Thursday’s deadline.

UPDATE: Schultz reported Wednesday afternoon that Maxey is likely to not be included in any deal for Harden.
