Odell Beckham Jr. has reportedly made the Giants 53-man roster, marking a return seven years in the making.
The news was first reported by ESPN's Jordan Ranaan.
Beckham was one of many veteran receivers brought in by the Giants this offseason, but he carried the most fanfare thanks to his history with the franchise. Now, he is expected to be part of the receiving core when the team opens its season against the Cowboys.
The 33-year-old Beckham was seen as an unlikely candidate to make the team, but his performance in camp and in the preseason coupled with a season-ending injury to Calvin Austin opened the door for Beckham to make the roster. According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, Beckham was told after he left the field in Friday's preseason finale that he had made the team.
Not only is Beckham back in Giants blue, he could also have his No. 13 back as he chooses, as fellow wide receiver Jalin Hyatt was waived, freeing up Beckham's old number.
Beckham has not appeared in an NFL game since December of 2024, when he wrapped up an underwhelming season with the Dolphins. He will look to recapture the magic that earned him three Pro Bowl selections in his five seasons with the Giants in his first tenure, including leading the league in yards per game in his rookie year.
The other wide receivers on the 53-man roster include Malik Nabers, Malachi Fields, Darnell Mooney, and Darius Slayton. The full roster can be seen here.
