The Rangers have decisions to make on several of their impact trade deadline acquisitions that helped the team to within two wins of a Stanley Cup appearance, but one of those main contributors is reportedly not coming back to New York.
According to Arthur Staple of The Athletic, the Rangers are “out” on Andrew Copp, and despite the two sides talking this past weekend about a potential contract, the Blueshirts will likely go with another option for their second center.

Copp was one of the Rangers’ big playoff performers, tallying 14 points in 20 games, and had a strong season overall, logging 21 goals and 53 points while missing just 10 games.
The 28-year-old will be a coveted free agent target when the market opens on Wednesday afternoon.
