The Nets are reportedly losing what would have been their top bench presence in Spencer Dinwiddie, but another depth piece is coming back for another season.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, restricted free agent Bruce Brown is signing Brooklyn’s one-year qualifying offer to return to the team. The deal is worth $4.7 million.

Brown can become an unrestricted free agent next offseason.

The 24-year-old served as a bench player and a starter last season, starting 37 games as the Nets dealt with several key injuries. He appeared in 65 total games, averaging 8.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 55.6 percent from the field.

A second-round draft pick in 2018, Brown played two seasons with the Pistons before coming to Brooklyn. He logged 95 points in 12 games this past postseason.
