Former Jets teammates Sam Darnold and Robby Anderson have had a lot more bad happen than good when playing together. From their time playing for bad teams in New York to now being on the Carolina Panthers, the two just can’t seem to be a part of a winning franchise.

The reunion of the two has gotten off to a rocky start. During Sunday’s game against the Patriots, a clip that was recorded off the CBS broadcast of the Panthers-Pats game was floating around social media and showed Anderson throwing his helmet and screaming at Darnold on the sidelines after the quarterback had thrown his third interception on the day.

To say the Panthers' offense struggled Sunday is an understatement. Darnold completed less than 50 percent of his passes, throwing for 172 yards with three interceptions and no touchdowns. Anderson’s frustration is understandable, since he’s been with Darnold before and not much has changed since their days in New York.

The Panthers gave up some pretty valuable draft picks to get a quarterback that has stagnated the offense and has been so bad he was benched at one point. Darnold was questionable this week as it was with a shoulder injury and possible head injury, but he cleared concussion protocols and toughed out the bad shoulder in a 24-6 home loss to New England.
