Both BT and Sal are high on Francisco Alvarez as he enters his second full season as a major leaguer, so BT set some over/unders for the Mets catcher's 2024 campaign.
The over/under was set at a .251 batting average, 25.5 home runs, and a .755 OPS.
Sal went under, over, over, respectively, and is bullish on Alvarez's season and career ahead, even if he isn't as high on the Mets overall.
"Alvarez, I look at a dude who is just gonna take over," Sal said. "I feel like he's gonna be a beast…just the feel I get from Alvarez is that he's unafraid and is gonna be a guy who can be a real impactful player."
