Friday marked the final Tiki and Tierney show before Tiki joins Evan in the afternoons and BT welcomes Sal to the middays, so Friday’s All In segment was the two simply being all in on each other, and being thankful for more than 11 years together on the radio.
“I’m all in on you, man,” Tiki said. “It’s been 11-plus years of us doing a radio show together, and a year and a half here on WFAN. I had no idea how to be a radio host…but having a partner like you who helped me through it, made fun of me through it, taught me the game, made me the person I have become, not just here, but everywhere outside of this studio in terms of my knowledge of sports.
“So I am all in on being thankful for you being my partner in radio on a national radio, local radio, and just as a friend and a brother.”
BT, not surprisingly, had nearly the same All In refrain.
“What I learned from you…I learned how to be a good partner, or at least try to,” BT said. “I didn’t know how to. I was worried about trying to win debates and arguments, and it’s not just because I think I was open to it, but it’s because of the type of person you are.
“I love you, and I’ll always cherish what we have. It’s weird doing this...we’ve only been here a year and a half, but we’ve been together 11 and a half years…it’s been an amazing ride, I’ll always love, you and I really hope that you and Evan do well and crush it. And we’re always boys. That goes without saying.”
