Kyler Murray has recently defended himself and his character amid reports that he is “immature” and is frustrated with the state of the Cardinals, but after scrubbing his Instagram of all things Arizona, the two-time Pro Bowler could be seeking a new home.

If that is indeed the case, should the Giants pick up the phone? Tiki Barber thinks so.

“I like Kyler Murray…he’s got an interesting personality,” Tiki said on Tuesday’s show. “He’s very flat, he’s not emotive at all…but when he plays, he’s dynamic.

“If you can find an upgrade, and it works financially and for all parties involved…is Kyler Murray an upgrade from Daniel jones at this point? The answer is yes. The question you’re asking, would I go replace Daniel jones with Kyler Murray and make the call with the idea that you’re replacing Daniel Jones with Kyler Murray? I think I would.”

Murray posted his best quarterback rating last season, throwing for 24 touchdowns against 10 interceptions with a career-high 69.2 completion percentage in 14 games, going 9-5 in that span. Jones, on the other hand, showed flashes of his potential but had his season cut short due to a neck injury after posting a 64.3 completion percentage while throwing for 10 touchdowns against seven interceptions. Both are 24 years old, but both have had very different careers up to this point.

“Kyler Murray is young…he’s 24 years old going into season number four,” Tiki said. “Last season felt like it was a regression, but statistically, he was great…he’s so dynamic. I think with talent that’s potentially around him in New York, the offense could be really wide open. I think one of the issues over the last few years is that the Giants offensive has felt closed. you’re limited because of either awareness in the pocket issues, escapability issues, Kyler Murray gives you that.”

Tierney didn’t agree, but if Tiki was new Giants general manager Joe Schoen, he would, at the very least, check in on possibly pouncing on Murray while he is reportedly at odds with the franchise.

“I actually would do that. I absolutely would,” Tiki said. “If things are falling apart and you can take advantage of the Cardinals because they need to move on from him, I definitely would.”
