The 2021 Daytona 500 extended into early Sunday morning due to a weather delay and ended with a fiery final-lap crash.

Joey Logano was leading the final lap when Team Penske teammate Brad Keselowski appeared to try and pass him when he bumped into Logano and the two spun out resulting in a scary scene at Daytona.

There were no major injuries, but Logano, Keselowski, Kyle Busch and Bubba Wallace were among those who were involved in the carnage.

Instead, it was Michael McDowell who was in the lead when the caution flag came out and took home the unlikely victory – his first NASCAR Cup Series win in his 358th career race.

The crash in the final lap capped a chaotic day at Daytona, which included a 16-car pileup just 15 laps into the race, as well as a six-hour rain delay.
