Just moments after Jacksonville scored a touchdown thanks to a fortuitous fumble recovery in the end zone, Braxton Berrios put the Jets back on top with their first kickoff return touchdown since 2018:
NFL.com officially listed it as 102 yards, but that’s just semantics; what’s true is that Berrios’ TD was the Jets’ first on a kick return since Dec. 23, 2018 – more three full calendar years – when Andre Roberts returned one 99 yards against the Packers.
Berrios, who led the NFL in kick return average entering Sunday at 28.7 yards per return, was named a first alternate to the AFC Pro Bowl team earlier this week.

Quite the first half for the Jets, too, as Zach Wilson scored Gang Green’s first touchdown of the day on a 52-yard run, a scramble on a broken 3rd-and-5 play:
