From Boomer & Jerry to Moose & Maggie to Carton & Roberts, Mark Chernoff got a lot of love on the WFAN airwaves over his final day as our program director. And all of it is well-deserved for someone who defines first-ballot Hall of Famer!
Mark has been active on the air over the last few weeks even, taking one final DJ shift on WCBS-FM in mid-June, plus this appearance on 50 Stories with Wayne Cabot that aired on WCBS 880 AM:
Our friend Jason Barrett of Barrett Sports Media also collated a collection of well-wishes for Mark, but not everyone got the chance to say goodbye on air or in print – so several current and former WFAN personnel, plus a few extra folks in the media sphere (and, of course, Dan in Carteret), took to Twitter to salute Mark Chernoff.
Thanks for everything and all the best in retirement, Mark!
Today is Mark Chernoff's last day at @WFAN660. Congratulations on a great run. pic.twitter.com/CH7mVBAObv
