Major League Baseball has announced its position player finalists for the 2022 All-Star Game, and three Yankees have made the cut.

One is already guaranteed to be a starter in Aaron Judge, who gets the lock after being the league’s top vote getter, and for good reason. Judge, now a four-time All-Star, leads the league in home runs and is a perennial MVP candidate.

Jose Trevino is a finalist at catcher, just behind division rival Alejandro Kirk, while Giancarlo Stanton is a finalist in the outfield.

On the National League side, Pete Alonso is a finalist at first base, though it will be hard to overtake Paul Goldschmidt, while Starling Marte is a finalist in the outfield alongside Mookie Betts, Joc Pederson, and Adam Duvall. The leading vote getter in the National League was Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr.

Voting resumes on July 5. The All-Star Game is on July 19.
