As the Yankees seek a solution in left field, MLB.com insider Mark Feinsand reports that the team has potential interest in Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson.

Feinsand reported Sunday that Rockies outfielder Randal Grichuk was also a potential trade target.

Carlson, 24, is batting .240 on the season with a .719 OPS and five home runs on the season. The Cardinals are expected to be sellers after a disappointing season has them well out of the playoff race.

Carlson was a Rookie of the Year finalist in 2021, but has not been able to replicate that offensive production since.
