NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Comedian Tracy Morgan teamed up with the Food Bank for New York City Saturday to hand out Thanksgiving meals to NYCHA residents at Brooklyn's Tompkins Houses, where he grew up.

Morgan's daughter Maven, 7, and son Tracy Jr., 29, joined their dad at the giveaway.
“I’d like to take a moment to wish everybody in the Tompkins project a beautiful, beautiful and safe, safe — please stay safe — holiday season,” Morgan said using a police car’s public address system. “God bless you. I love you.”
