First joined by her mother, Sharon and partner Darius, they dived into Palmer's experience right after giving birth and going home. "I love my friends and family. I want everybody around, but after having a baby that's the last damn thing you want," Keke said admitting that after having her son, she wanted to be with her child and Darius and be "left completely alone."

She revealed that when becoming a parent, there's a "learning curve" that both she and Darius are working to overcome. For her, she "had to learn to connect to Leo," while he opened up having to "practice a lot of patience" as the baby isn't as responsive to him as he is Keke.

Joining in on the chat, Sharon asked Keke what made her decide to breastfeed because when she was raising Keke, she revealed that breastfeeding wasn't really an option because she still had to work. "I knew I wanted to breastfeed, I didn't know too much about pumping but I had to learn about pumping because obviously I also work," Palmer continued. "It was my personal choice to want to do it and to see if I could have that kind of journey with my baby and it was enjoyable but it has been hard."

Reflecting on what she wishes she could improve on, Keke said she wishes she could understand her son's needs quicker.

Shifting guests, Keke was joined by her lactation consultant Beth Iovinelli to talk about the struggles of breastfeeding.

Sharing what inspired to get her into lactation consulting, she explained that it was her own experiences with her first born. "I actually really struggled. I had just graduated from nursing school... Not knowing what the hell was going on and I really struggled," Beth said. This led her to becoming really passionate about getting it "right" and ultimately led her to helping other mothers.

Diving into common misconceptions about breastfeeding, Keke believes that breastfeeding isn't a "natural" instinct like people make it seem. "It's not always instinctive," Beth added.
