Surprise! Singer-songwriter Lily Allen and Stranger Things star David Harbour have gotten married.

The couple began dating in summer 2019 and made their debut as a couple on the red carpet of the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Back in July, speculation about James and Harbour’s engagement circulated online after fans spotted what appeared to be a large diamond engagement ring on the singer’s hand.

According to public records obtained by TMZ, Allen and Harbour obtained a marriage license in Las Vegas over the Labor Day weekend. Although they had one year from the date of receiving the license to get married before it expires, the couple wasted no time tying the knot.

The UK’s Daily Mail is reporting the two wed at the Graceland Chapel in Las Vegas on Monday night. Their ceremony was officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator, who also co-owns the chapel where the couple was married.

Harbour and Allen had been spending time in Las Vegas together with Allen’s children from her previous marriage to Sam Cooper.

David Harbour isn’t shy about taking part in non-traditional or off-the-cuff wedding ceremonies. Back in 2018, he went viral for making a promise to officiate the wedding of a Stranger Things fan if their tweet requesting Harbour officiate her wedding received 125,000 retweets. Less than 24 hours later, the tweet well-eclipsed the 125,000 retweet mark as Harbour began to coordinate the details of the wedding.

Several months had passed leaving fans wondering if he’d stick to his promise when he posted this absolute gem of a photo to Twitter.
