LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Even if you have one million dollars lying around, it won’t get you any Super Bowl LVI advertisement space this late in the game. The highly coveted spots, watched by millions across the United States, are sold out. And NBC Universal said several of the last 30-second spots went for a record $7 million.
“It’s about as live and as ‘unmissable’ of an advertising environment as you’re gonna find,” said Tim Hanlon, founder and CEO of the Vertere Group. He joined KNX In Depth to answer, is the cost worth the results of the advertisements?
"It's upwards of a hundred million people or so [watching the advertisements] …$7 million ranging across 100 million people, that’s a pretty inexpensive cost."
Every year, companies wrack their creative brains to come up with the next big commercial - the one people will remember. In the past they've gotten so good at creating entertaining ads, that they've started to create and release "previews" ahead of the big day.
Such is the case with some of the videos below, like BMW, with Arnold Schwarzenegger in full Zeus attire at a coffee shop before fading to a tease for more on Super Bowl Sunday.

KNX rounded up a few commercials for your viewing pleasure. They're listed below in order of the author's favorites. Enjoy!
