Singer Nick Jonas is putting out some "Boss" vibes with the hopes of one day reaping serious benefits.

If and when the powers that be decide to do a film based on the life of "The Boss" Bruce Springsteen, Nick would like it to be known that he's just dying to fill the role.

Speaking with Apple Music host Zane Lowe earlier this week, Jonas spoke of the potential acting opportunity as a "dream" he'd one day like to fulfill.

"Well, growing up in New Jersey, Bruce obviously has a special place in my heart and my creative life," Jonas says. "And it is a dream of mine -- and I'll just go ahead and say it, hoping that it gets to the right ears -- but it's a dream of mine to play him in a movie one day and tell his story in some way that would be honoring to him and that he could be involved with."

Although Nick was unable to see Springsteen at any of his epic Giants Stadium shows when he was younger, he did get a chance to bear witness to his idol in a live setting while in Los Angeles just a few years back.

"The thing that really stood out to me after going to a show is just, he's been a champion for his fans his entire career, and you see it at the shows," Nick explained. "It's about them. Every moment's about them, them having the best experience, best night of their week, their life, their year, whatever," he says. "Me and the brothers kind of said that about our shows... We always want to make sure that our artistic vision comes through and that we're saying what we want to say, but we also want this to be the best night of our fan's week or month or year. So we try to bring that same energy and that's all thanks to Bruce's model."

Jonas just blasted back onto the solo music scene with last week's release of his fourth studio album, Spaceman -- his first solo offering since 2016's Last Year Was Complicated and 2019's reunion of the Jonas Brothers during their Happiness Begins era.
