Twisted Sister's Dee Snider, as ‘Doll,’ placed third behind ‘Dandelion’ and ‘Mantis,’ after his performance of Elvis Presley’s "Jailhouse Rock" with all the judges mistaking his identity. Judge Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg thought it was Iggy Pop behind the mask, while Robin Thicke guessed it was KISS’s Gene Simmons, Nicole Scherzinger guessed it was 'Diamond' David Lee Roth, and Ken Jeong guessed actor Austin Butler from the ELVIS biopic.

The over six-foot tall, 68-year-old Rock icon and recent Heavy Metal Hall of Fame inductee joked after being unmasked, “Let me tell you: Gene Simmons? Iggy Pop? No one can work pumps like I do!” Adding, "It's like riding a bike. I wore them in the '70s, and it all came back to me when I put them back on."

"I couldn't believe you guys didn't get it," Dee said in his interview with host Nick Cannon. "You were circling around it."

When Entertainment Weekly questioned Snider on what made him decide to take part in the show, Dee laughed, "Well, actually, to tell a secret, I was asked season one to be on the show. And I said, 'No, this show will never work.' Nine seasons later, they said, 'Will you be on it now?' 'Yes, I'll be on it now.' I did the same thing with 'Sharknado' by the way."

'Dandelion' will next try to hold the title of reigning champ in a face-off against two new Group C mystery contestants on a theme night called “Masked Singer in Space.” Watch The Masked Singer on Wednesdays at 8/7c on FOX.
