In the midst of the pandemic, there are no excuses for not washing your hands or wearing a mask as a chimpanzee in Chongqing, China, showed that it could do the simple tasks while it mimicked its zookeeper.

The video of Yu Hui, the chimpanzee, has gone viral as he can be seen using a bar of soap to lather up, for almost a full thirty seconds getting in between both fingers.

Another clip in the same video shows the chimpanzee trying to put on a mask; while he does it unsuccessfully, the effort is still there.

This is not the first time a primate has attempted to copy its human counterpart. Earlier in the month, a video of an orangutan trying to put on a pair of sunglasses someone dropped into its habitat went viral online.
