Bandhu the rhinoceros celebrated his 12th birthday the other day, but he gave fans a treat by plucking out a tune on a keyboard for the occasion.
The Denver Zoo took to Instagram with the video, showing Bandhu reaching his upper lip through the fenced area to tickle the ivories of a keyboard being held out for him on the other side.
The caption of the video reads, "Happy Birthday, Bandhu! Our resident male greater one-horned rhino turns 12 today! It might be his birthday, but Bandhu wanted to treat you all to a special song he wrote all by himself."
The caption goes on to explain how playing music is just one of the many ways the zoo helps to stimulate the large animal.
"Using his prehensile lip to compose a tune is just one of the many wayward s we can use enrichment to mentally and physically stimulate the birthday boy," the caption continues.
In the video, Bandhu can be seen munching on snacks while he plucks away at the keyboard in front of him. The wholesome video has gone viral with even the Philadelphia Zoo taking to the comments section to write, "HE'S SO TALENTED."
