With many amusement parks currently closed in many parts of the country, thrill seekers are stuck trying to come up with new ways to pump up their adrenaline.

However, one Georgia teen wasn’t ready to go any longer without getting on a roller coaster, so he decided to build one of his own.

Now, Ben Tolliday has gone viral after sharing clips of his homemade backyard thrill ride.

As seen in the now viral video, Tolliday rides the 100 ft. roller coaster going from him home’s deck all the way through their backyard.

“I was absolutely terrified. But I guess because I built it, I knew how sturdy it was," Tolliday told WSBT-TV. "So, I was pretty confident I'd be OK, but I was screaming my head off. It was crazy."

According to UPI, the ride was built using wooden beams, PVC pipe, cinder blocks and sandbags.

It took him three weeks to build the ride and he is even thinking about adding more to it.

While his mom has given the roller coaster a try, she's insisting the contraption is only a temporary diversion.

"I'm looking forward to getting my yard back. I've got some plants trying to grow underneath," Katherine Tolliday said. "Yes, this is not going to be a permanent fixture in my yard, I can tell you that."

The teen is heading to college in the fall and is interested in making his coaster building skills part of his future career.

“That would be my dream job, to build stuff like this for people and then see their reaction when they go down it for the first time. Yeah, I had so much fun building it,” he said.
