Telling her fans that she’s been “wildin’ out lately,” Cardi admitted that “a b**** been outside,” during a recent Instagram Live, sharing her desire to “get my f***ing life together.” Cardi also notes, “I haven’t been getting my massages, I haven’t gone to the gym,” vowing the lifestyle adjustment would be “starting tomorrow… no.. on Tuesday.”
Revealing the reason for her lack of healthy discipline is because “I have so much things coming next year.” Cardi adds, “I’ve been feeling so emotional lately because I know next year is gonna be my f***ing year.”
Acknowledging, "This year has been the most weirdest year I have ever experienced,” Cardi also says, “I don’t know what the f*** happened... I cant even tell you,” before listing off exactly what did go down, mixed in with a healthy amount of profanity and expletives, in true Cardi style.
As Cardi pointed out, 2024 has been quite the year, particularly on the personal front. For one she welcomed her third baby in September, that two — happened just a couple weeks after filing for divorce from Offset, for a second time. Which three — followed sporadic bouts of putting each other on blast on social media throughout the year... just to name a few.
Cardi went on to explain that while her plan to get her s*** together “starts now,” it’s the needed first step to prepare herself for what’s to come in 2025, especially since she demands to leave a legacy for her three kids, “but especially my daughters.”
Sharing her to-do list for the new year, “My album will be out, my secret businesses will be out,” Cardi said, adding, “I can’t tell y’all what I’m working on,” holding her index finger to her mouth, [and] hopefully next year I get me a lil’ boyfriend.”
Cardi fans have been patiently waiting on her second album for a minute now, it being over half a decade since she released her 2018 debut album, Invasion of Privacy. That being said, Cardi hasn’t left us completely hanging, releasing an array of singles and collabs since, which most recently include, “Like What (Freestyle),” “Enough (Miami),” “Puntería” with Shakira and her feature on GloRilla’s “Wanna Be - Remix” with Megan Thee Stallion.
