USC Insider Scott Wolf reported that Kris Richard, former player and defensive coordinator for the Seahawks and Cowboys, was a candidate to be hired for defensive coordinator. It was also rumored that he would eventually take over for Clay Helton.
REPORT: USC was ready to replace Helton with this guy!
