Arch Manning is not just a football player.

The No. 1 quarterback recruit in the country won a state title in basketball over the weekend, as Isidore Newman High School won its first championship since 1993.

Manning, the nephew of Peyton and Eli, got some minutes off the bench but did not score in the 56-47 victory over Lafayette Christian. He also finished with a foul and turnover.

While it’s clear football is Manning’s better sport, his basketball games were still drawing plenty of attention throughout the season.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban and Georgia head coach Kirby Smart each reportedly attended one of his basketball games as they try to woo the next generation’s Manning to their football programs.

Manning’s decision on where he will play in college is highly anticipated, with Florida, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas also in the mix with Alabama and Georgia.
