Mookie Betts’ October is off to a perfect start.

The Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder spent some time this weekend enjoying one his other favorite sports — bowling — and was clearly on his “A” game at the bowling alley.

In an Instagram post Betts shared on Sunday, the All-Star revealed that “after an amazing party” this weekend he woke up and bowled a perfect game.

It was a rather subdued celebration, probably because it is not the first time Betts has bowled a 300.

He posted a video back in January, amid the MLB lockout, of himself accomplishing the feat and had done so previously in 2017 while with the Boston Red Sox.

Betts’ affinity for bowling is well known, having competed in Chris Paul’s PBA Celebrity Invitational.

With the Dodgers set to face the winner of the Mets-Padres game on Sunday night, the outfielder and team can only hope this is just the start of an excellent October for Betts.

Judging from the two-time World Series champion’s past, he usually does shine this time of year.
