For years the video was part of every baseball player's path.
When referencing the fundamentals of the game, an easy way to introduce a snarky punctuation was surfacing Tom Emanski and his instructional video.
And, of course, part of that entire equation was former big-leaguer Fred McGriff's presence in the production.
"I'm so impressed with the instructional videos by Coach Emanski that I've given him my full endorsement," McGriff said on the video. "When you watch them, you'll know why
But thanks to McGriff's appearance on ESPN Monday, our bubble is burst.
McGriff's appearance was part of anchor Kenny Mayne's last show on the network.
