Tsuyoshi Shinjo continues to top his already amazing entrances, now bringing an actual hovercraft into the mix.

The former Mets outfielder and always flashy star is back home in Japan as manager of the Nippon-Ham Fighters, a tenure that began with him asking to be called “Big Boss” and continuing with Shinjo appearing out of a box in the middle of the field with the words “Big Boss” lit up across his uniform on Opening Day last week, as the road team. For the Fighters’ home opener, Shinjo took it another step further, announcing his arrival by flying a hovercraft inside Sapporo Dome before the game.

Shinjo landed the hovercraft, hopped off and removed his jacket, revealing his Nippon-Ham uniform. The Fighters lost and remain winless on the season, but if there was a contest for best managerial entrances, Nippon-Ham would have already clinched the title.
