Russell Wilson is many things to many people. He’s been the starting quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks for nearly a decade. He’s a Super Bowl winner who many times receives attribution for the Super Bowl he famously lost. He’s married to a pop singer named Ciara. Among all of these things, there is now a debate whether Wilson is an “All Time Great” quarterback. It’s a question that was brought up by ESPN talking head, and former safety, Ryan Clark.

"Russell Wilson is not an all-time great QB. He's never going to be in those conversations,” he said. “We have to stop putting him in that world that any team that has Russell Wilson can win a Super Bowl." Wilson did in fact win a Super Bowl is 2014, but as mentioned before, many fans attribute that success to the team’s defense.

There are just a couple of statistics that would argue Clarks assertion. We’ll go ahead and list them below:

- Wilson also holds the fourth highest passer rating of all-time

- He ranks 15th all-time in passing touchdowns despite being 35th in pass attempts

- Since entering the NFL in 2012 he is 2nd behind only Matthew Stafford in game-winning drives (playoffs included)

Sooooo, yeah…. Russell Wilson is pretty good at football. Clark’s point may have slight merit, but statistics and prevailing sentiment would say Wilson will be a Hall of Famer.
