DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - A long-term contract expension is expected to come for Dallas Cowboys head coach, Jason Garrett.
In January 2015, Garrett signed a $30 million, 5-year contract with the Cowboys, lasting through the 2019 season.
The Cowboys went 3-5 in the beginning of the 2018 season, and rumors were swirling that Garrett was lacking his job security. The rumors got quiet when the Cowboys won seven of their last eight games, securing them in a spot in the playoffs for the third time in five seasons.
The Cowboys are now 10-6, and will play in Los Angeles against the Rams tonight for a spot in the NFC Championship Game.
