ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys may have lost one of their top defenders for the season, after corner Anthony Brown was forced to leave the team's 54-19 win over the Colts on Sunday with a serious injury.

Following the game, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones told the media that the team's fear is that Brown ruptured his Achilles tendon, which would end his season.

If confirmed, Brown would end the season with 39 tackles and no interceptions.

If the injury is indeed a ruptured Achilles, Brown faces a potentially substantial recovery of anywhere between six to 12 months.

Kelvin Joseph and DaRon Bland would be next in line to replace Brown in the starting lineup.
