Jayron Kearse activated from reserve/COVID-19 list

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys should be at full strength when they take the field for Sunday's Wild Card round matchup vs. the 49ers.

Dallas activated safety Jayron Kearse from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday morning. This move comes just one day after the Cowboys elevated left tackle Tyron Smith and linebacker Micah Parsons out of the protocol.

“All indications are everything is good. I have no worries. But we’ll see how he gets through practice today," McCarthy said of Kearse in his debriefing with the media on Thursday.

McCarthy added that the team will be smart with Kearse's reps in practice today in the lead-up to the game on Sunday.

Kearse, the Cowboys leader in tackles (101) in 2021, missed the team's regular-season finale at Philadelphia due to COVID.
