ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys second-year cornerback Trevon Diggs made history on Monday Night Football when he intercepted Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts in the third quarter and ran it 59-yards the other direction for a touchdown.
Diggs joined former Cowboys great Everson Walls as the only players in franchise history to have an interception in the first three games of a season, the team announced during the game.
Additionally, Diggs became the first Cowboy to return an interception for a touchdown since Byron Jones did it at Washington on Oct. 29, 2017.

Diggs has clearly become the Cowboys best corner after the organization selected him in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Alabama. He has a long way to go, but has already matched the amount of interceptions he had in his rookie season in nine less games played.
