DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks have discussed a sign-and-trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder centered around forward Danilo Gallinari and the 18th overall pick in tonight's NBA draft, Matt Babcock reports.

Gallinari, 32, averaged 18.7 points on 43.8% shooting in 2019.

The addition of Gallinari would provide a major boost for the Mavericks offense on the wing as he shot over 40% from three-point range last season.

The Mavs aren't alone in their pursuits of Gallo, however, as the Atlanta Hawks are reportedly interested in bidding for him if he hits free agency on Nov. 20, Marc Stein of the New York Times reports.\
