DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Texas Rangers are no longer requiring fans to wear masks at Globe Life Field, the team announced in a press release Thursday.
"Masks are recommended for all fans except when actively eating or drinking at their ticketed seats. That includes all concourse areas and when entering Globe Life Field."
The team previously required fans to wear a mask while not consuming a food or beverage.
The new policy comes after the CDC announced earlier Thursday that face coverings are no longer necessary indoors or outdoors for those who are fully vaccinated.
This is a developing news story.
