DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - As we all know, the Rangers play in one of the top-5 media markets in the United States. But that doesn't equate to spending money on players, as they'll have one of the lowest payrolls in Major League Baseball this season.
According to Spotrac, the Rangers rank 22nd in the league in payroll at $75.833 million (40-man roster), which is less than what the Kansas City Royals, Cincinnati Reds, Minnesota Twins and the San Deigo Padres are all spending in 2021.
