The Washington Football Team may soon finally decide on the franchise’s new team name.

In the team’s latest YouTube series, “Making the Brand,” fans are given a behind-the-scenes look at a meeting with Washington team president Jason Wright, general manager Martin Mayhew and head coach Ron Rivera discussing the latest update on the team name.

However, the video continues to keep fans guessing as to what the options are.

“So the three that we’ll go through are [bleep], [bleep] and [bleep],” Wright said, with the names censored by the editors.

At least one of those choices seemed to impress Rivera, who quickly responded how he “really liked” one of them. Whichever one it was, Wright seemed to agree.

Rivera could also be seen going through renderings of logos, which were all blurred out.

The video also included fans at FedEx Field reacting to potential new team names.

While we do not know if any of these team names are among the finalists, they included the following: Armada, Brigade, Commanders, Defenders, Presidents, RedHogs, RedWolves, Washington Football Team.

The fans were also shown logos for some of the names as well, suggesting they were at least some of the more serious options.

Wright has said that the organization is aiming to have the new name ready for early 2022, so while the franchise will play one more season as the Washington Football Team, it will soon finally have its new nickname.
