We all know it was the year of the September 11th attacks, but it was also the year that wikipedia showed up on the internet, and Apple released the iPod. It held 1,000 songs. Know how I knew that? I looked it up on wikipedia!
Popular TV shows included That 70s Show, Everybody Loves Raymond, and big movies included a couple blockbusters based on books: Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone, and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Other popular movies included Shrek and Monsters, Inc.
