Every Friday night at 10, Amber Star takes us back to a different year in music history, thanks to Funk's Pub in Fitchburg. Feel the vibe!
This time, we're going back to 1978. That's the year the movie Grease came out and we all were singing along to Greased Lightning and Summer Lovin' on the radio. Animal House was another movie we rushed to the theatre to see.
On the small screen, a lot of amazing shows premiered--including WKRP in Cincinnati, Dallas, Taxi, and The Incredible Hulk.
Trapper Keepers were a keen new school supply, and the first laser disc players came out. They were called MCA Discovision, but really had no relation to disco music.
What music was popular in 1978? Tune in Friday to find out.
